The retreat includes: transportation from Chetumal Airport to the retreat location in Bacalar; toilet paper, buckets, and sleeping mats; 5 days in a shared room with two beds in Bacalar; breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
It does not include: flights or passport processing.

Requirements for attending the retreat in Peru:
1. Follow the special 5-day pre-retreat diet outlined in the recommendations.
2. Have a Zoom meeting with the organizers to review special travel recommendations.

About the Retreat

The Master Plant Retreat at Bacalar Lagoon in Quintana Roo, Mexico, is held with the intention of sharing sacred ancestral medicines with love and respect. Ayahuasca Aventura is organizing its first retreat in a location revered by the Maya culture: Bacalar—known in the Mayan language as *Bakhalal*, meaning "Place where the sky is born."

The retreat is led by the medicine couple Abigail Esquivel and Gabriel Mijares, who have over 10 years of experience as guides for holistic ceremonies and facilitators of sacred ancestral medicines. They have shared medicine in Uruguay, Peru, and Mexico; the medicines they offer include Yopo, Yopohuasca, Wairahuasca, mushrooms, cacao, Clavohuasca, Sananga, tobacco, Bufo Alvarius, Camalonga, Ayahuasca Cielo, Ayahuasca Jaguar, Ayahuasca Trueno, and more than 20 types of rapé.

Place

The retreat will take place at Quinta Bacalar, a 15-minute drive from the Bacalar Zócalo and 50 minutes from Chetumal Airport.

Lodging

Quinta Bacalar features six cabins that accommodate up to 12 people; the cabins are equipped with bathrooms, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. Quinta Bacalar offers direct access to the lagoon and includes a dining area, a *temazcal*, and parking.
